Tao Gu, a Grand Academician of the Hanlin Academy, composed a eulogy in his honor, stating: "A distinguished lineage, rich in accumulated virtue, brings blessings to generations unborn—for just as water has its source, so does a tree have its roots. In his early years, he was graced by the benevolent favor of the Imperial Court; throughout his official career, his name remained illustrious within the hallowed halls of the Hanlin Academy. With unwavering loyalty and concordant wisdom, he aided an enlightened sovereign; upholding the legacy of his forebears, he paved the way for future generations. In this present age, who else but this noble Lord is truly worthy of such a monumental tribute?"
